I am a warrior. But I’m a girl, too.
Why is Yue on here?
Likable character yes, but a warrior she was not.
Warriors put their lives on their line, to do what they believe is right.
That is exactly what Yue did.
How is she not a warrior. I mean just because she doesn’t use a weapon, or perform the same kind of physical (and masculine) violence that the rest of the girls do, doesn’t make her any less worthy of being on this list of young women who fought. Just because she didn’t wield a weapon, doesn’t mean she didn’t show the same courage in the face of violence and death that the others did.
Yue gave up her life. Freely and selflessly. So that all the waterbenders had a fighting chance. That was her act of resistance. That was how she did her part in fighting back against the Fire Nation invasion.
And that is why Yue belongs on there.
